Influential Women

Wendy Rogers Among Most Influential Business Women in San Diego – The Daily Transcript

Mrs. Rogers’ career included journalism and marketing, but it was at her successful construction consulting business that she saw an unmet need to launch eSUB Construction Software: better technology for construction subcontractors to track their work.

We are proud to announce that Wendy Rogers, our visionary CEO, was selected by The Daily Transcript as one San Diego’s Most Influential Women for making a significant impact in the construction industry.

The elite San Diego business women on this year’s 2017 list were recognized for having a major impact on their company, industry, and community, in the following fields: real estate, construction, law, financial services, government or nonprofits. Wendy Rogers has certainly made her mark in the construction industry with all odds against her.

“The construction industry has been the last on the planet to adopt technology and being a male dominated industry never deterred Mrs. Rogers. “Her vision, focus and work ethic to stay the course of the matter of when the industry would adopt technology not if,” would propel her professional success and newly found startup to new heights.

Since Rogers launched eSUB, the company has won numerous business and innovative product awards, including being named three years consecutively to Construction Executive Magazine’s Hot Companies (’14-’16), and Constructech Magazine’s Top 50 innovative companies (’13-’16). In 2016, the San Diego Venture Group named eSUB one of San Diego’s most promising up-and-coming technology companies. eSUB also partners with several other leading construction management software providers, including Sage, PlanGrid, Microsoft, Construction Open Software Alliance (COSA), SmartBidNet, Associated Subcontractors Alliance, and The Associated General Contractors of America.

Since 2013, eSUB has grown its revenues by over 400 percent. eSUB announced a $5 million Series A investment from Revolution Ventures in December 2017. The latest funding will allow eSUB to add over 40 team members, with a focus on hiring in sales, engineering, customer success, and marketing at its headquarters in San Diego, California.  The future is bright for Mrs. Rogers and eSUB Construction Software.
