PlanGrid and eSUB integration is a ShowStopper
Many of our customers are experiencing many benefits of using PlanGrid and eSUB together. PlanGrid provides the ability to quickly view and share plans, markups, photos, and reports from anywhere and any device. Its ease of use makes it one of the most popular field productivity applications for the construction industry. When combined with eSUB’s project management and document control capabilities, PlanGrid and eSUB are a winning combination for unmatched collaboration and productivity for construction professionals in the field.
The eSUB-PlanGrid integration is simple to setup and uses an API key to synchronize project data seamlessly. No download needed or connector to install. Users attach PlanGrid snapshots to any eSUB document (Submittals, Daily Reports, Change Orders, Purchase Orders, etc.). Subcontractors have a complete record of what happens on the jobsite to help in claims avoidance. Additionally, RFIs created in PlanGrid synchronize into eSUB’s RFI module and centralized database. This reduces redundant data entry and allows users to manage and track RFIs created in the field within eSUB along with other project communications and documentation.
eSUB Field Works mobile app keeps getting better
Since NECA 2016, the eSUB Field Works mobile app received several enhancements. Many times Field Notes require more than one image to accurately document an issue. Field Works now allows the user to add up to six images to a Field Note. The system dates and time stamps all the images to improve project documentation and mitigate risk for subcontractors.
Additionally, there have been several updates to display of labor hours within Daily Reports. Crew total hours and total hours by employees are now visible in Daily Reports. This new feature reduces the errors in payroll to pay your workers quickly.
Preview of eSUB Time – NEW employee time tracking mobile app
We know that labor is the biggest cost to subcontractors. So, it was important for us at eSUB to develop our own solution for our customers to more accurately their track labor costs. But many subcontractors waste hours tracking down paper timesheets or use multiple apps.
eSUB Time empowers field workers to enter their time (via punch in / out or manual entry) directly from their smartphone to make time tracking easy and with fewer errors. When laborers log their time with eSUB Time, the time transfers to important project documentation and reports. Consequently, employee time keeping and project management come together in eSUB for time savings, labor productivity improvements, and project team collaboration.
eSUB Time is still in development and scheduled for release at the end of the year. We will be providing demonstrations of eSUB Time during NECA. We invite all attendees to stop by and receive a demonstration of the new construction time tracking app. Try it out for yourself and tell our team how we can enhance eSUB Time to be a 2018 NECA ShowStopper.
Looking forward to seeing you in Seattle. If you will not be able to attend NECA, feel free to contact us at 800-493-3782 or click here to schedule a demo.
